L'Occitane Giveaway!

I went by myself to a med school friend's wedding a earlier this year and the hotel that they reserved for their guests was one of these boutique hotels where they always have something to try to distinguish themselves. We stayed at the Hotel Monaco in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Their "thing" is that they bring a goldfish to your room and that is your pet for the night. They also had some super fancy animal print leopard and zebra robes that made me and Jaime, my buddy/roommate-for the-night, feel (and act) very much like pimps (there are some crazy pictures somewhere). We even named our goldfish Charlie and went about or merry way on some pre-wedding debauchery with old friends.

Much to our chagrin, when we awoke in the morning, Charlie was no longer with us. Meaning, he was do the fishy backstroke in the bowl. It was like that scene from the Cosby Show where Rudy's fish dies and she thought it was sleeping. Seriously, I thought he was sleeping at first.

Anyway, aside from the goldfish saga, the other eventful thing that happened that weekend (aside from the wedding, mazel tov! - that phrase totally doesn't make sense since my friends were Korean...) was that I discovered L'Occitane soaps. I *might* have persuaded the housekeeper to slip me a few extras of these because they SMELL. SO. GOOD. Especially the lemon/citrus verbena. When I finally ran out of my stash of soaps, I went looking for them. And so my dear readers, the giveaway...
