Easter Dinner

Often, when I am planning a meal for entertaining, I am as inspired by the colors of the meal as I am the food.  I am not about to become "Aunt Sandy" and start creating tablescapes all over the place with matching cocktails. That's just krazy.

Kuh-razy.

But the insanely awesome sunny weather this week definitely brought yellow to mind as a key color for our Easter dinner.

We kept the table settings really simple with just white bowls, plates and napkins with dark wood napkin rings.

Amazing what kind of centerpiece you can scare up with $15 worth of fruit, vegetables and flowers at Costco + wedding glass pedestals.

Roasted corn and acorn squash soup.

Menu: mustard crusted pork tenderloin, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus.

What was on your Easter menu?
