Dessert Buffet

I put out a Facebook plea a few days ago and solicited ideas for a dessert buffet that I am doing for an upcoming party.

My prerequisites:

1. The food must be portable.  Nothing worse than struggling to balance food with a drink at a cocktail party.
2. The food must be non-messy.  This is not the time for a trifle or big slices of pie.
3. The food must be relatively bite-size. One or two bites max. Allows for maximum sampling.

1. Food Network key_lime tarts, 2. Casa Sugar macaroons, 3. Cooking Light linzer cookies, 4. Amy Atlas Popcorn Cones, 5. Grove Park Inn chocolate_fondue, 6. Martha Stewart cherries

 
Here were the awesome suggestions:

• Thin Mints 
• Chocolate covered pretzels
• Macaroons - these are a huge trend right now, because of the variety of colors and their interesting shapes.
• Mini cheesecakes
• Mini cupcakes
• Buckeyes
• Caramel popcorn
• Fresh berries
• Fruit with chocolate ganache dip 
• Raspberry Linzer squares
• Key lime tartlets
• Brownies Bites
• Mini Pavlovas
• Fruit Tartlets
• Fudge
• Mini Eclairs

Now I have to start whittling this down to about eight to ten options. Decisions, decisions :-D
