Okay, so I know that that is not a pear and it is actually an apple. I took the picture before I forgot that my dear MrDrama is sometimes allergic to raw apples (weird, right?). Nothing life threatening, they just make him hurl - which is nasty enough on its own. Now let's eat...
The final version of this salad substituted a pear for the apple, but either would work well.
Ingredients were simple: baby spinach, blackberries, thinly sliced pear and crumbled Roquefort blue cheese.
Dressing: extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt, pepper, tiny bit of Dijon mustard
