The Real Reason People Have Children

We had dinner at a friend's home this past week and the toddlers got hold of the Dust Busters and then proceeded to clean the kitchen floor. The entire floor. Child labor, it's a good thing.

BTW, I am still convinced that the only main reason that my parents had children was so that they could get out of having to wash dishes or clean out the refrigerator or organize the garage or mow the lawn for at least 15 years. We had a lot of chores. Kept me from becoming a hoodlum, ragamuffin and ruffian. Not really. I grew up in the most suburban of communities possible. Probably explains the whole J. Crew thing.
