Where I would like to spend my fall vacation

We may be taking a little long weekend break in the next few months and drive down to the Florida coast from Nashville. It is only 7 hours away and actually less time than driving to Hilton Head or another East coast beach. During my research, I have stumbled upon some options and have found this UNBELIEVABLE resort area called Alys Beach. The only drawback?

Seriously? This kitchen would spoil me for everyday life. I would be walking around, sipping a mimosa while wearing a flowing white tunic, while birds land on my shoulder, Snow White-style...


Shut. It. Down. I would walk around buck-arse naked, just because I could.


Calgon, take me away...


Not surprisingly, the homes start out at $350/night. Granted these houses are unbelievable, but I am thinking we may stay somewhere a little more within our comfort zone and budget (says the Queen of Priceline and all things Orbitz), no matter how swanky it is. I am certainly not shelling out money like we did for our honeymoon for a family vacay. Yet. Or maybe the recession will be my friend and we can find some poor soul looking to book a weekend for a family of three for super cheap!
