Then I looked at my feet and realized we had a situation and I am not talking about a Jersey Shore sort of situation. The first wearing of sandals of the season is not always a good thing. Especially when you have gotten used to the wintertime general ignoring of toes. Hey, I wear Uggs or closed toed shoes all winter - gimme a break.
My feet needed an emergency pedicure.
Seriously, my toes looked like a cross between a horned toed iguana and an elephant. Not. Cute.
I took a detour to my neighborhood nail salon and then headed home to get the family for a trip to Arrington.
We drank a Gewurztraminer. No idea how to say that. I just know that it is good. We didn't do a tasting this time, but we probably will in the future.
The Kid trying to steal the Gouda. Or the strawberries.
Me and the Kid. I'm wearing the J.Crew painted poppy tee and twisted strap jersey dress (which makes me look about 5 months pregnant, but is so comfortable, I don't care).
If you are in Nashville, definitely check Arrington out. It is very family friendly and there were people all over the place with picnic lunches. A perfect outing.
