What really matters in real estate

We were looking at some houses last weekend and I fell in love with this little McMansion (which was apparently being sold for about $80K less than it originally sold for about two years ago) - gotta love those adjustable rate mortgages that are kicking in.


Before you start rolling your eyes, I wasn't sold on the house because of the cookie cutter outside, open floor plan or screened in porch (although those were nice). It was the closets.

This is about 1/4 of the space of the master bedroom closets, which is approximately the size of our current bedroom. Yes, I am a dork and took a picture of the walk-in closets. I would have bought this house, just for the closets alone. I totally had a "Carrie" moment from the SATC movie. Sigh...
