High Street meets Main Street?

I was getting the supplies for my brownie ice cream sundae fix (nope, not pregnant, just reliving sophomore year in college) at my local superstore and I was passing by the juniors section (I know, right?) when I stopped dead in my tracks at this shirt.

Then I noticed the head of Hannah Montana floating behind it. Apparently Miley Cyrus and Max Azria (of BCBG fame) have teamed up to make inexpensive clothes for her target demographic, which apparently also catches the eye of thirty-ish working moms. This ruffly shirt thing is definitely a trend if it has trickled all the way down to Wally World. I debated for about eight seconds whether to get it before the siren song of vanilla bean ice cream beckoned and I passed on it. I 've never bought clothes there unless they are Hanes 3-pack white undershirts for MrDrama, but it's kinda cute!

She posted quite recently about the same clothing line

I completely ignored the other clothes that were there. I think if I had seen the stirrup pants, I would have found some matches (and subsequently been arrested for arson).

Very cute! I've seen a few commercials and wondered if there would be anything I might like (being a 30ish working mom myself). The Max Azria involvement is probably the only reason I was intrigued. I guess I will have to stop by the Hannah Montana section while doing my grocery shopping ;-)

I cannot believe the pics I have seen in print and in the store...Miley & the fab Azria. It's unreal. I haven't been impressed w/the clothing. It's definitely made for Wal-Mart. Although if I perused closely, maaaybe one piece might work. I kept moving, though. Not much to see.
